When You Need Leadership, Waiting Isn't an Option

Losing a Chief Appraiser can create immediate challenges throughout your organization. Questions begin piling up. Escalations take longer to resolve. Review consistency suffers. Teams lose confidence, and compliance risks begin to grow.

Whether your Chief Appraiser has resigned, retired, taken leave, or you're experiencing rapid growth, you still need experienced leadership to keep your appraisal operations moving.

Appraisal Aid provides Interim Chief Appraiser services that give your team immediate access to seasoned appraisal leadership without the cost or long-term commitment of a full-time executive.

Why Companies Choose an External Chief Appraiser

Immediate Expertise

No lengthy onboarding. Get experienced appraisal leadership when you need it most.

Lower Costs

A full-time Chief Appraiser often costs $150,000+ annually before benefits, payroll taxes, recruiting costs, and overhead. Interim leadership provides executive-level expertise without the long-term financial commitment

Flexible Engagement

Whether you need support for a few weeks or several months, services can be tailored to your organization's needs.

Independent Perspective

Receive objective recommendations focused solely on improving appraisal quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.

During a recent Chief Appraiser engagement, Susan helped identify recurring operational issues, improve inspection quality, reduce appraisal escalations, and develop internal USPAP guidance that the client requested be turned into permanent training resources.

After hiring their permanent Chief Appraiser, the client asked Susan to remain with the organization for several additional months to mentor the new leader and continue supporting the team.
